Do you have to get one to wear on your right foot and one for the left foot, or they all uni-foot models? I guess if you have big feet you are SOL and will never be a politically & environmentally corect weenie.

I would be afraid to drive one of those in the states. In other countries it's OK b/c most of the other cars as small as well but in the states cars are huge.

I don't even like driving a Jeep Compass. I don't think I could drive one of them around here with big F-450's and Mark LT's... not to mention my LARGE F150...

I want to know what that smart car would look like next to a F150 with a 8' Bed and a Super cab... with that insane 154" wheelbase...

I'd like to have one in the bed of my truck to serve the same purpose as a dingy on a large boat

We had one of those in at the dealer a while back and I took it for a drive. Actually a cool *** car to drive and there is TONS of room inside for one person. It had a little turbo 3 cylinder and had an automatic/manual transmission that shifted just like a straight drive except you didn't have to push a clutch. Hell, I'd drive it back and fourth to work, they get like 50-60mpg. Tint the windows and throw some dubs on that and you'd have a sweet ride!

Actually I think the car might fit in my truck bed. The girl who owns it lives in my building with another girl. They are lesbians! Not the hot kind either. I was about 2 spots down from the car. One of these days I'l park right next to her car and get a close up shot of how tiny this thing really is. It only has two seats. I heard those things cost around $19,000 to buy too! About the handicap spot...It isnt a "real" handicap spot. I park there all the time. Cops cant come into that area anyway because its the private parking area behind the building I live in in downtown dallas. That car reminds me of a golf cart.

That's a Youtube link to a crash test. You'd be surprised about the results.

I saw one of those at Target once, it was a turbo diesel one. The guy was from Canada, where they've been selling them for a number of years.

Like it or not, cars like that are what most American's should be driving for their everyday travels.

It makes no real sense for us to be tooling around all day in an empty F-150. If we all drove Smart Cars during the week, and kept our F-150's and Mustangs for our weekend fun (except, obviously, for the folks who need a large vehicle in their line of work) we could pretty much tell all the Arabs to go f*ck themselves and the camel they rode in on.....

Well it's good we all have trucks then, I'd think there's a better chance surviving in an F-150 just because of the sheer weight and size. Hell, maybe it would have made it through the concrete lol.
