Almost... Summit Racing wants $244 for the rear gears and $256 for the front, so about $2200 total.

Got the Royal Purple, its going in tonight. I talked with the gear shop about the whine and after reading a lot here I found I should be using 75 140 I asked them what they put in and they put in 85 90 I said thats not even the old oil, thats wrong all together, they said its all they have ever used in rear ends, mind you this is a class 8 truck shop. So tonight will be the test if the new oil helps my whine. Ill post back

Bills in 546 with master install kit, 550 labor, total 1096 but I cant tell you the shop that was the neighbor price with cash

Nope RP didnt do anything. My whine isnt that bad and is only around 50mph, should I worry about it? The shop that did them was doing a favor for me so I feel bad telling them I have a whine and need a new gear set. what do you guys think? complain or get some 37 inch mud graps and have the sound fade in with the tire sound?
