Nothing as of now, your only option is a Mustang GT kit

will a pre 2004 fit my 05 motor and will the gt kit fit my motor. I would think it should but i dont want to buy it and have it not fit. Basically will the gt power adder kits fit my truck. Cause if they do, i wanna do a twin turbo kit.

Try these people:
http://www.allenengine.com/

Not listed on the website but call them.

There are people out there that make kits for the 4.6. Even think Rousch has something.

a gt40 turbo will work nice on them you could go with the ball bearing if you want... along with a front mount and a gear ratio do a few other things and you got a pretty peppy truck.

i looked into a mustang cobra s/c at one point, but the mustang motors are 4v and our are 2v. i've heard of allenengine making the 4.6 s/c, i would look into them. I wouldn't bother with a turbo, by the time you get it tuned in, and all the peripherals, you're cost would far exceed that of the s/c (which is bolt on, where as the turbo isn't)

if i were you i'd go for the tune, intake, throttle body, exhaust, and cams and see where that gets you first.

OK well where do i get cams for my truck and a TB does nothing unless you have a S/C upgrade or some sort of power adder. But where would I get the cams. I want really lopy and power.

Call crane, cower or comp. All of them can custom grind them for you, they are the same cams in every 4.6L 2v (mustangs, explorers, etc...)

search Summit or Jegs for them. I remember talking to a rep about them at a manufacturers midway.

aren't 05+ mustangs 4.6 3v's? In that case pre 05 models are your market, and we both know the mustang aftermarket is enormous, I can't see why it would be difficult to find performance mods for your 4.6 at all. In fact it should be easier than the 5.4 3v's, other than intake mounts, tuners, etc. Internals are the same correct? Dribone, I'd love to see your engine compartment decked out, your exterior is nothing short of appealing.

thanks man, but believe it or not, i haven't done much to the engine bay yet, thats this winter. I'm not a big fan of the stick on billet stuff, so you'll see some stainless in a couple months.

as far as the mustang parts, yeah, the 05+ are 3v. the 4.6 is still the modular block, but the heads in the mustangs (pre 05, primarily the cobra) are 4v, whereas ours are 2. i've been thinking about swapping parts for a while, but the suspension got the best of me

Why not go after the aftermarket parts for the 2V mustang Gt pre 05. I believe the only differences are the front cover and the intake.
