Anyone running it? I am about to get new tires and was wanting to keep one of the old ones as a spare. Just curious as to whether anyone has this setup.

I have test fit a 315/70R17 BFG tire on the stock spare wheel and it fit in the spare location on my 2007.

I know the factory trailer hitches changed between 2004 and 2007... I think it was changed for 2006 model year. You have a 2004, so you may want to compare your spare tire location with a newer truck to see if the newer trailer hitches will affect it fitting in there.
