Question Who makes the best 6inch lift?

I have a 2006 F150 FX4 that i am thinking about lifting. I have a level kit on it already and have up graded the tires to the 305-65-18. But have been thinking about doing a 6inch lift on it. I have read and heard alot about all kinds and brands of lifts. So i figured i would ask all of you to see which lift you guys prefer.

Fabtech, or Rancho (Rancho does not make a 6" lift though)

If you're going to go with Rize I would just do their 8" lift, it cost the same.

I have a Fabtech lift on my truck and love it. Doesn't mean it's any better or worse than those others mentioned, but I'm very happy with what I have.

yea i should have mentiuoned that....if you buy rize go with the 8"

but in the 6 inch area...the RCD is trhe best then rize then fabtech. fabtech is a VERY good kit.
iwould actually put it ahead of rize come to think of it...for you have the coilover options and stuff.

This really depends on what you are going to do with your kit, Fabtech coilover kits are the best for offroading. If you are just going for looks it doesn't really make a difference.

Before i lifted my truck i did a search for the same question. That's becoming a question with no correct answer. Its like asking who makes the best All Terrains? Anyhow, IMO I would go with Fabtech.

Rancho does not technically make a 6 in lift although they do make a lift kit that clears 35s.

Maybe the question you maybe should of ask is who makes the best lift to clear 35 inch tires (or 37s)...

Why does the Rize lift for the F150 look so freakin' ugly from the front though? Couldn't they make that drop bracket a better shape or at least paint it a darker color so that it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb? I understand what the bracket does, but the other lifts that relocate the differential and lower control arms don't look like that.

It seems like that shape would actually DECREASE ground clearance. I was looking at the shape of the Rancho and others and they angle up to the center. The Rize looks like it would bottom out if you went over a good size bump. I would hate to see what kind of damage that would do!

The Rize lift reminds me of a spider, its a little to loud form my taste. Very high quality though..

I absolutely love my procomp lift. It is a very simple lift from looks you would think that i would ride like a brick. I got the basic kit which basically is a block ontop of my factory suspension with new subframe etc.. However, everyone always says they cant believe how smooth my truck rides. I DONT DO MUCH OFFROADING. I am sure a coilover kit would be better if your going offroad much at all. But if you just going for some curb hopping ditch crossing improved clearance that looks amazing then procomp is my vote for ya. I will say you wont go wrong w/ fabtech or rize either.

i dont beleive you can go wrong with pro comp either

i bought a pro comp kit with coilovers and MX-6R shocks for the rear first...but then took it back when the Rize kit price dropped.
