Exclamation Quintin! Help to clean the injectors! Truck abused with Pemex fuel

Hi there! I'm in the process to change my fuel filter, as I'm in México, i don't think PEMEX use good quality detergents on their gasolines. I use Magna (87 octane) and drive the truck 90,000 miles without change the fuel filter. :o

What kind of work i need to clean the injectors?

My truck actually have the check engine light (no scaned yet) and in hiway speeds don't have power to go uphills but i can drive with easy foot at 60Mph if goes faster start to hesitate.

Thanks fro your recomendations.

Usted puede ser que desee utilizar algo a lo largo de las líneas del limpiador o de SeaFoam de la inyección del combustible de STP. He tenido siempre buena suerte con esa materia. Su mejor apuesta está con Seafoam.

Artgarcia, you need to change your filter every 15000 miles. I would even change it every 7500 miles, if the gas you re getting in not up to standard.

Yes! i know i abused but my atempts for remove the filter did't work. Now after more research i just change the filter with a little more patience. I'll evaluate this product, do you have some experience about? How is this used? Thnaks for your input.

Yes I know i was negligent about. Now i know hot to change it and I'll make the task every 2 oil changes (12,500 miles) I don;t know why the dealer charge so much and wally world don;t make this easy task. It takes less time than a ordinary oil change!

I dunno about Seafoam. Most aggressive stuff I know of you can dump in the tank is either BG 44K or Chevron Techron concentrate.

BG 44k is what alot of the shops in my area use. It works better if you run it through a high pressure injector cleaning machine but you can also dump in in the tank and run it through with fuel.
