Not sure why it's so hard to believe. When I bought my 05 in 06, the sticker was 41,700 (round about) X-plain was 38,000 plus the 4k rebate and 1k Ford financing took it down to 33K. I got the dealer to sell it to me for even less than that. I paid 34.5k out the door with a bunch of stuff added in the sale. 5-60 warranty, 3yr maintenance contract, dealer installed rear headrest dvds, Tonneau cover, Line-X and that also included the taxes and title fee's. I basically paid 29K just for the truck.
my trade was my 2002 FX4 Lariat super cab that had 56K miles. I got 15,800 for it.
