Wow man.......I love the vent lights! And those headlights......I wonder how well they would go on my truck being a dark blue..... It would help it look more like the harley truck theme I got going.

If not, what about a silver FX2 housing?
It's the light cutoff that is more important than the light absorption (although, the OP demonstrates that the black definitely helps).

I've seen two or three guys post now that have Hella lights... all of them have had a very nice cutoff that seemingly work with HID. I haven't really seen any one with stock heads that has pulled it off; the glare is far too bad.

Have you ever been driving down the road at night and encounter a vehicle coming at you that is throwing light EVERYWHERE --- maybe even to the point that you slow down or flash your lights at them only to realize that they have another level of retina etching light power when they flash their brights back at you?

That's what we're talking about...

HID is a great thing when used properly but, when used incorrectly, it can be VERY dangerous for everyone else. Proper light cutoffs and projection go a long ways in using HID correctly -- and legally, I should add.

when i get mine, would it be possible to reangle my headlights so that they go further to the right of the road instead of into the other lane since i will not have my black headlights yet?

im sure there is some screw for vertical and horizontal movements on the headlights to adjsut isnt there?

Yes... they can be adjusted but, even when focused more towards the road, you're going to have escaping light that isn't properly focused... or, at least you'll have a high likelihood of it...

So are the white LEDS in the stock interior light housings a lot brighter than the stock lights? It would be nice to have some more light output when you flip the dome light on at night, or open the door...
