Dang it!!! You beat me to it! I have green led's on my workbench right now!!! Thought it would look great, and it does. Great job! How much did the silver paint inside the duct help out, and how far back (or foward) did you place the led's?

The silver paint is what creates the "glow"... it's a must for this mod.

You want to install the LED in the top and point it down torwards the duct so the reflected light is what you see, NOT the LED.

I forgot to ask, can you see the silver paint during the day? Is it noticeable? Like to keep it stealth...

Yes, I love the HIDs. Money well spent!

Note:
They are horriable in the stock light housings! TOO MUCH GLARE!

It is a MUST to change to HELLA's or something with a flat black housing.
I would spend the extra money for the HELLA's because they are much better all around. The cut off with the HELLA's are ideal for running HIDs.

Anyway here is the kit:

It matches the color of the chrome vents, it looks better than stock!
Very very nice finish to it.

Looks good. Does the heat or cold air coming from the vents cause any problems with the lights. How are is it to install the underbody neons?

Do you have HID's in all four corners or just the heads? What kelvin temp did you go with? In the image below, the HID's are a lot more focused than they are with the stock headlights, very nice. However, the beam is very narrow compared to the stock headlights w/HID's. Can you get some light output pics with the fogs on as well.

I do not like the underbody glow. But I do dig everything else, nice work.

These are the shot of the Hellas in the day... you can see the glare is absorbed by the flat matte finish. This helps to control the "wasted light" that blinds other motorists. 6000K for fogs and heads.

I don't use the fogs much, they are a little too much to city driving.

As far as the LEDs holding up, they are doing great and I've had no issues in sub zero or 100+ temps.

Thanks Josiah, I see what I can do for more pics...

The narrow light beam is a big help for controling glare.

Watch the vid I posted... at the very end - it show the HIDs more.
