I know that the GT40 is a type of turbo but since you didn't just say Garett 40, I wasn't sure. Wow, you know that its a 61mm turbo! 61x80mm to be exact.
then you would also know that a gt-40 uses a 7 bladded compessor and can run as much as 75lbs of boost, without being a ball bearing turbo.

and im sorry while your doing your google searches or using wikipedia but your numbers are off the gt-40 is better then the t-67. but the gt-40r is worse imo becuase its a bearing turbo.

Google searches?

I've helped build a few Grand Nationals which were using Garett turbos. Just remember as much as you think you memorized the Tuner Magazine talking about turbo this and turbo that, you're still the guy who said his 4.6L is faster than the 5.4L! Besides if you want to get really technical, Garett in all reality makes quite a few different versions of the "GT40" turbo.

God, I almost want to post this in the GD forum so those guys down there could get a laugh.

Push you in the seat more? Now I know you've never riden in or built something even close to being fast!

Well thats why. its a special edition...they "turned down" the computer in those models. Now it all makes sence.

Oh shoot, i think you meant he TUNED up the computer (programed the latest calibration to your pcm) . Theres nothing to turn up from the factory.

Hold on, I'll reply but I'm on the phone with the dealer they said they were going to install my 4 Garett turbos but they want a case of beer and a Pizza. . do you think its worth it? I'm kind of on the fence about the whole thing. I think I'll get them to turn up the computer and than its a deal. Hold on.
