thats also if it cant do it, most 5.4 3vs are crew cab in my area which is quite a bit more weight then a single cab 150, so i know for fact that if it cant do it now (which i could see it being possible) then it can with just the ratio change.

 

lol, 0-60 on the mach1 was 4.7 seconds. Transam/camaro did it around 5.1

Mach1registry had a guy with bone stock mach1 run a quarter mile in 12.7seconds. hasn't been done yet by a trans/slowmaro...

mine ran mid 12's (best of 12.3 with some slicks) with just intake and almost full exhaust with a little bit of weight reduction on stock street tires

 

im sorry but the good ole mach one doesnt come out with a faster 0-60 then a 03 cobra and your also saying the mach 1 ran a fast 1.4 mile time then a 03 cobra sorry... but that is no way possible.

a 03 cobra stock runs a 1/4 mile in 12.9 seconds. get real facts.

btw a stock trans am runs a 0-60 in 4.9 with a 1/4 mile in 13.4 its almost a drivers race for a trans-am and cobra.

A mach1 beats a cobra in the 1/8th mile most of the time. Cobras are run mid 12's stock with a decent driver.

Still a Mach1 is faster 0-60 and quarter than a trans/ss alot of times it is a drivers race but the Mach has the odds with it since it is lighter, better weight distribute, revs higher/harder, and is geared better for accel. from the factory. Go check out mach1registry...

just because im a mustang guy doesnt mean im going to lie about the power of a mustang, a mach1 cant rev faster then a cobra, they share the same engine the only differnce is the cobra is setup for a supercharger and has a supercharger which would mean it revs faster, and a cobra is not a second or two faster then a transam, as i said a cobra at its best will run a 12.9 stock, i havent seen it do it often but with good drivers it can. however the most common run for a 03 cobra is between 13.0 and 13.9 with a 0-60 of 4.9

and 2000 transam runs a 0-60 in 4.9 with a 1/4 time of 13.4

 

well,I wished I could have found a trans-am to keep up with my mach 1 when I had it. with only a h-pipe 4.10 gears and a dynotune I was 3 and 0 against them.I'm sorry to tell you this,but stock for stock a ls1 f-body and mach 1 is a drivers race.

 

bottom end say like 1/8 mile yes, but in a 1/4 the transam gains power over the mach or atleast from what ive seen and even read of course everything you read isnt true but i could see where a larger 5.7 would be stronger then a smaller motor in the top end.

 

you would be surprised, mach revs to 6,750 RPM...

Cobra > Mach1 > trans/ss > GT (Mach/ls1 is drivers race but mach as edge)

Top speed a ss/trans is prob faster with 6speed and lower strung gears but then who races top speed?

I had two guys in my highschool one with trans and one with an SS. I beat the transam by a couple lengths to 75 and I watched the guy in the SS get spanked! by a stock 05 auto mustang GT so I thought it would only get uglier...

i dont know so much about the cars but i own both a '00 4.6 supercab 2wd and a '04 5.4 lariat 4wd and even with the '00 having the lighter body the 5.4 will easily win. im not sayin it will smoke it but it would clearly win.
