was that your truck i saw on you tube with the exhaust video? good looking truck, and it sounds good too!

and just so this post isnt totally pointless:
it doesnt matter what you do with your truck, lift it or lower it. there will always be some [insert derogatory name here] that is going to criticize it. just make sure its something you are happy with.

Yeah, that's mine haha. I didn't think that video would get so many hits

But back to the point, an FX2 can look good lifted or lowered, but I opted for lowering since it already has the lower valence that it does.

I see nothing wrong with lifting a 2wd for cosmetic reasons, since, let's face it... the biggest reason people lift ANY truck (4x4 or not) is the cosmetic factor, and the fun factor of being in a big truck.
However, I don't think the lower valence of an fx2 would be very appropriate when lifted. The lines wouldn't work right.

Maybe just swap hat lower valence or an HD style?

me too

I can sort of understand this thread, the bottom line is some people want to be POSERS

they want their truck to LOOK like a 4x4 but not be

kind of a transvestite truck sort of thing, whatever floats your boat...

the loweing a 4x4 thing is just absurd, and the guy was coming up with all sorts of nonsense excuses

my favorite was his "well money is tight..."

well, if money is tight, why buy a late model 4x4 and then throw MORE money into it to lower it, and have crappier gas mileage, just absurd
