Yeah...right...I could run circles around you with a 2wd, its all about knowing how to drive.
made it through this... twice.

I agree lift your fx2. Its your money. It will look awesome. Then you can laugh at those plain stock trucks that make stupid comments.

Why do you say they're FX2s? They don't have the FX2 lower valance. I'm not sure but doesn't the FX4 Lux. Pkg include painted handles and mirror caps? If they truely are FX2s thats wierd that they'd switch out the lower valance. I'll take your word for it though.

I say they are FX2's because they are 2wd, and everything else is the same. oh and the window stickers say FX2 sport.

What's up with the fenders on the red one? Looks like a Chevy.

The light bar on those is sweet. Anyone know who makes it? It must come with the upper bumper piece.

because in San Diego everybody puts prerunner fenders on their trucks, so Ford did for them. half the people I see out here with "cali" lifts, prerunner fenders and big tires dont even know how to get to the sand, let alone drive in it.

henkyjenky, if you want I can find out if my buddy that works at that dealership can order that ightbar for you just let me know.

Thanks guys! I will be lifting my baby soon. I'm doing mostly for looks. I dont need a 4wd in Miami. It's useless, heavier & waist much more gas, that's why I have a 4x2. I just like the way the trucks look lifted. Not too high, just at a decent height is sweet. I have not seen any lifted fx2's out there. I think I may be the 1st one, apart from all the regular 4x2's.

that is such a misconception...the 4x4 uses just a little gas as the 4x2 does...it's all about the skinny pedal.

get some pics of your truck before/during/after...that would be cool to see...besides, lots of guys lift/level their 4x2 to get some wheel space.

Lifting a 2WD is not a problem I just think FX2 has a more sport truck look to it. The front lip would look terrible being lifted.
