Angry WRECKED my TRUCK....project on hold

Wrecked my truck today...thank GOD for the ranch hand grille guard absorbing the majority of the impact.

Pictures to follow.

Sympathy?

Some idiot driving a Neon came like literally 2" alongside of me while I was driving my truck. What ticked me off was the fact that I was nearly rubbing the curb and the idiot still kept coming closer, actually going way over the white line.

Luckily nothing happened, or you would have seen MSNBC having a new news report of some guy dragging a Neon with a driver in it off some remote cliff with an F150. Sad thing is... that I wouldn't be able to find a decent cliff. Darn.........

It was actually my fault. REALLY bad intersection here in San Antonio (1604 and Bandera (San Antonioans chime in here) and I stuck out my nose after traffic had stopped to let me in and the kid was speeding (pizza boy) and i hit him.

My fault

Traffic in SA sucks...especially the 410 loop (at rush hour). From the look of your truck, it actually doesn't look that bad. Glad you are OK. Keep us posted on the fix...

I really do accredit the lack of damage to the grille guard

I am not really sure how you hit him if you were at the actual intersection. Aren't there traffic lights? There is LOTS of traffic in that area though. I give you props for admitting it. Usually people are always full of excuses. Doesn't look too bad, it can always be worse..

In that case, the Judge will probably rule both fault and you will only have to cover your truck. Same thing happened to my dad couple years back and thats what the judge ruled.

I dont know how anyone gets around SA I get mad just thinking about driving there. I have an aunt that lives down there so I am down that way everynow and again, and I get PO'D every time I get on the road there because people drive like IDIOTS.

Anyway glad your ok and the trucks not to bad, it could have been worse. And from your explenation it does sound like mutual responsibility.
