Want the Fastest New Body style?

Start with a regular cab f150 2004+

Aluminum Assault block:???
Manley Rebuild Kit: Pistons, rings, rods bearings: $1,750
3V cams: $750
Valve springs & retainers:350
Ported heads:$1,625

Whipple:$5,100
Headers:$500
Exhaust:$200
Trans & Converter:$3,200
Driveshaft:$500
____________________________________________
Total parts: $13,975
+ Labor
+Rear axle work
+racing slicks
+tuning.

Around $17,000

Just a ballpark figure.
Could add 4.10's too.
Rear axle work would be somthing like adding new axles and going to a 5 bolt rear tire.. this way you could run smaller wheels and put slicks on them.. new rear brakes to.

Could also add JDM aluminum 5.4 block. Couldn't find a price on it, but it would certainly help (Less weight up front = better hooking at the track)
You'd be looking at around $20,000 for everything. But you'd be the fastest new body style F150 out there.. At least the fastest Ive ever read of.

Just some food for thought. I was bored, so I did a little research.

Somebody get on this!

It seems to be quite rare for the F-150 crowd to be into such builds as much as chevy and dodge owners seem to be. I guess the f-150 owners that exist have moved their way into a lightning instead.

i have a friend that is twin turboing his 01 V6 F-150
he has rebuilt everything so if everything holds and he gets some traction, i would definitely not want to mess with his sleeper
he already put one turbo on it and it made like 400 HP, but i hope he doesn't up the boost too much and blow himself apart

ill be there eventually

i dont want to be the fastest out there, but i would like to be putting down around 500 rwhp or so.

when my tranny goes again i will be throwing in a monsterbox or equivalent, which may not be too far away...

hopefully my motor will last another 2 years or so but im going to start collecting parts in the mean time (rods, pistons, and cams etc...) that way when my motor does take a crap, ill be ready for the rebuild.

ive already got the s/c and the 4.10's so i guess i already have a start lol...

my friend works for WheelPros so im going to be getting a cheap set of light weight 17's and drag radials before too long.

like i said i dont want to be the fastest, but i would like to have a dailt driver that will put most cars to shame

just give me a year or two lol...

you have a very sick truck, probably one of the sickest street trucks here, what engine do you have in it?

Edit:ok i just saw your gallery, so you have a 5.4, is your sig old because if you have a s/c you should be making over 308 rwhp

Did you see that he also listed 22" wheels and 3.55 gears? So his sig's not completely up to day... If he dyno'd with that setup I'm not at all surprised to see only ~310 at the wheels.

Something about the reg cabs looks funny, I think its because of the short doors. Why? How do you screw up a reg cab pickup?

If you played your cards right, you *MIGHT* could get a few free parts in exchange for advertisement on your truck. Who's not gonna notice the fastest 04+ F150 on the track. I know I'd be
