Post your ipod setup.

Post up your ipod setup. Just ordered the Peripheral PXDP2 for my truck and need some ideas on where to mount my ipod. Thanks for the help.

I haven't gotten my PIE yet, birthday gift from g/f, however I plan on running the wires into the centerconsole, coming around from the back.

Mine just sits in my glove box. Use my head unit to control it.

My 8gb Nano sits in my glovebox 24/7. Controlled by an Eclipse CD5000 HU. Great combo!

I had the Ipod cable installed in the center console of my 04 FX4. It works great because I have the Pioneer Avic-D3 which allows me to control the Ipod completely from the HU. I think that the center console is a great location which makes the Ipod very easy to access.

I haven't gotten an IPod yet, and I doubt I ever will... I don't require music pumped into my brain 24/7, and I like to listen to AM sports talk on my commute. Otherwise, I have plenty of music capacity with the 6-disk + MP3. I doubt I'll ever put a much of system in this truck either. I've already lost enough hearing from past 1000+ Watt systems...huh?

I posted this a while back, it could work with an IPOD, but you would have to control it via the IPOD not the stereo.

I don't have a setup in my truck yet. But check out what this guy did. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Stock OEM radio with PIE, then audio component splitter to iPod & Sirius.
