Save your money and get the PIE adaptor, i tried 2 highend FM transmittors and was not happy at all. I wouldnt even use my ipod as i would get mad about the sound quality.

or just wait for a new truck with an aux adapter

all the stuff you gotta get into the back of the radio is too complicated for me.

I tell you what, Sunday evening, I will send you a PM with how hard it was to attach. Im getting mine this weekend as a erly birthday gift. I promise you that sooner or later you will get rid of the FM. But I wish you the best of luck with getting better sound than me.

I just looked at your choices for FM and the Digital FM one for $41 was the second one I tried. Took it back after my trip from Houston to Lubbock.

Last I checked, you could not use the PIE if you had the rear seat DVD player. Is this still true? I currently run my iPOD using the RCA inputs on the DVD player. Just ran the wires along the overhead consoles to the front the under the headliner to the passenger A pillar then over to my center console. I would prefer to use the PIE if it can be done with a rear seat entertainment system.

Its the Alpinew200, lots of people on this site have them. I paid 700 for mine including installation. I got from an authorized dealer so I paid a little more than some of the guys who bought thiers on Ebay. Its worth it tho to get the full factory warranty

Here's my setup..

Got all the electronics from logjam electronics and the Arkon mount from Mountguys.com

So now I've got my 04' setup w/ 2 aux inputs that are switchable. Electronics to make this happen:

1. PIE FRD04-AUX Auxiliary Input Converter
2. The Soundgate AUX3
3. Blitzsafe UII iPODŽ interface
