$99.99 Tire Pressure Sensors on Woot Today

Over at Woot.com today (and today only), they have a set of tire pressure monitors for $99.99 (+$5 s/h). Seems like a decent deal, it's got a cool little LCD screen to mount in the cab.

I have been looking to get these for a while, anybody know if this is a decent set?

Its kind of creepy. Do they really need to put all that detail into the testimony lol.

"I open the driver’s side door, get in and move the driver’s seat all the way back, then return it to its proper position. Repeat three times."

Come on, and thats only one sentence from the whole thing. Its huge!

I guess you guys have never been to woot.com before

Their write-ups are always a little odd. I do hope you all realized most of the description is a joke, followed by the actual stats of whatever product they're selling. Everyday is a new item, when it sells out, its gone.

Not sure about the install. Is that huge sender on the outside of the rim on the valve stem? Or does it go inside the rim somewhere? I run air alerts on my trailer. They just blink when you drop 4PSI from where set. Don't need a display for tire pressures Something like $20 ....

They go inside the wheel and the only thing you see is the valve stem sticking out. They would probably throw off the balance...but since you have to have the tire taken off the the wheel to install them you would probably have them rebalanced anyway.
