Check out my leveling kit.

Just hauled 2700Lbs in a half ton truck...Is that bad?

I carry this all of the time! Level is due to airbags. Nice to have if hauling.

Pops has a 2wd ext cab sb. He got some granite counter top scraps from his jobsite. When he got home he weighed a couple and found out he had 3300 lbs in the back of the truck. Thats plus his tool box and tools. Truck did ok. Tires show evidence of riding on the sidewall. They were not at the max inflation.

In case you didn't look at the photos or catch onto the conversation, his "leveling kit" was a bunch of pavers in the back of his truck.

How's your fuel economy[ or lackthereof]?



What is that you're hauling? I see the bricks but is that mulch on top?

100 bricks and 20 bags of lava rock, plus a pair of tennis shoes buried in there somewheres

I was just bragging because thats the largest load I've hauled in my truck. It did fine.

looks good man!

i hauled a bit over 2k in the bed of mine last week--neighbors down the street cut down a tree and i couldn't pass up free firewood ...although it would have been nice to have smaller pieces
