Rafa, if you continue to have issues with a converter that can handlw any power level.... contact DARRIN on tccoa.net. his buddy builds converters and trannies for 9 sec cars. they are inexpensive also. he quoted me 3200.00 out the door for a tranny and converter my motor cam never hurt N/A.

Seeing your threads is inspiration to get back to work on my truck. I have a turbo mustang I MUST get "completed" first. I was looking to start doing another car at the end of the year, a viper or Daytona Coupe, but the truck might take back over

I would 100% be going turbo with juice

 

Just an update for everyone, probably next monday:


1) Install new 3 plate PI torque converter,
2) Switch the 8 1/2" lower pulley for a 10.5",
3) Adjust the tune.

what kind of times are you looking to get outa that bad boy
like 1/4 mile or 0-60?

 

When i finish a 4 link suspension, light weight race wheels, race tires, race tune with 23psi+, reduce some weight etc...
I would say mid 11s, or less.
Who knows ??
