First time poster, this site is a great resource for information on these trucks. After much decision (never owned a F150, but always had Fords) I decided to order a new F150 FX4 Supercab 5.5' Styleside with the Luxury Package. Dark Blue Pearl w/Dark Shadow Grey two-tone. The lease deal was too good to pass up, plus the $3,000 rebate.

I had a hard time finding information and pictures on the luxury package; there doesn't seem to be many out there, probably because it was a late availability package (Job #2). It's an excellent value at $995 msrp.

There were no trucks in my 5 state area that matched my specifications, so I had to special order it. Does anyone know the average time it takes for the truck to be scheduled, built, and delivered? Also, where do they build this truck? Here are the specs:

cool, I'm getting a 2007 Fx4 supercab as well, fully loaded including navigation.

 

Did you order it with the luxury package too? What color is it?

The only options I did not order were the navigation, 20" rims, and running boards.

 

I guess it is coming with the luxury package...? all I know is it has every option you can get on it except for running boards and tailgate extender

NICE! I like the light silver/grey, it was my second pick. I couldn't decide on the tailgate extender, but I got it figuring I could remove and store it if I don't use it. Did they tell you how long it would take to arrive?

I think they are 5-6 weeks special order

 

Well good luck on the 6 week turn around... I ordered my truck on August 22and I didn't take delivery until Nov 29th... But it was well worth the wait...

 

Your 133" wheel base will be built at Dearborn Truck Plant.

I ordered mine on 2-19-07 and I called the VOPC # and it says it was completed on 3-16-07 and expected to be at the dealer 3-27-07. Mine should be from Dearborn as well.
Update: Mine is coming from Kansas City and being transported by "Allied Trucking" only. Still expected 3/27.

 

I ordered mine on 1/21/07 and drove it home on 3/4/07. The wait is the hardest part..lol
