Welcome to the site Wellcraft. I own a 2400 Martinique and you'll be fine with your new truck. I pull mine up some steep hills and my 05 tows it prefect, my previously owned 02 with the 4.6L 3.55 had trouble keeping speed. So you should be happy with the 5.4L in that truck. Look in my gallery and you can see mine.

Like everyone else is saying you will love it. I have the 5.4 and have towed a trailer with a tractor on it that was about 500# under the rated limit and it was a little slow but it was great. Make sure you get a good trailer brake controller if it has em, but if you are researching the truck this much I am sure you looked into that already. Just for reference my brother has a 99 2500 dodge ram with the cummins diesel and it handles the weight of the trailer better (the truck weighs around 7,000lbs by itself so the springs are very stiff) and accelerates a little better, but the 150 has a car-like ride and can still tow with no problems.
