My truck shakes when I turn?

...its doesnt happen all the time, but on most corners my truck shakes? does anyone else have this problem?? anyone have a idea what it is....i have looked at everything and its looks good?

I do have a rotor that is bad, everytime i brake my truck shakes..so maybe this is cause my truck to sputter when i turn??? not sure?

i may be wrong, but I don't think that a bad rotor should cause ur truck to shake while turning...again i could be wrong bud..._motes

Do you have a limited slip rear diff? If so then it's a shudder caused by the clutch pack, there is a TSB on this that calls for a new clutch pack. I had the same issue with my truck the new pack fixed it.

Drive your truck in a tight circle, if you feel sort of a "shuttering" in the rear end, then it is your clutch packs. I had mine replaced under warranty also. Mine also shuttered during initial take off. It is something you should have Ford fix under warranty.

That's definitely the clutch pack, when it's fixed make sure they put in the right amount of friction modifier to keep the new pack working smoothly.

I have some of that friction modifier....do you think by just adding some more of that, that will fix my problem??

otherwise i will just take it in to ford to have them do what they need to do

If it's under warranty, just take it in.

That way if it doesn't there's no way they can come back and claim that it was your addition of modifier that caused your problems.

Agreed, use up some warranty, that's why you have it.

I am having the same problem. I am taking mine in on wensday to have it looked at. They told me if the problem was with the clutch pack then they would have to order the parts and it may take as long as a month to get them in. There is another dealership right around the corner from my work so I think that I may stop by there and see if it would take them as long..
