Tire recommendations?

80% highway, need a good multi-season tire. We get a lot of rain and some snow and ice. I don't drive in mud or sand. I'd appreciate you guys' thoughts.

Pro Comp Extreme-ATs are a good all around tire. They are slightly more aggressive than other ATs.

You didn't give ANY info about your truck so I'm reaching here. I called WWW.TIRERACK.COM a few months back & the guy I talked said the Bridgestone Dueler AT REVO is the single best light truck/SUV tire on the market. He said you can certainly find a cheaper tire & you could probably find a tire that does something better but none are the all around awesome package the REVO is. I've never driven on them so I can't comment on whether any of this is true. To put them on my truck would be approx $800. I can find a tire that's about $500 to put them on my truck. I normally don't base my tire choices on price but a $300 difference is too much to ignore.

With out knowing what size you need, I would consider the following:

Pretty much all of the tires I listed will work. I would go for the REVO.

if you do hardly any offroading, then those michelins that KC-10 FE suggested are good tires. they are great in the rain, and arent niosy at all. my dad had them on his land cruiser and got nearly 80,000 miles out of them. good deal if you ask me.

Been running the Bridgestone Revo's since I dumped the stock Generals @500miles. Been a great tire-> most of my driving is highway, but here with the snow, ice, and add in pulling a boat up unimproved ramps rates this tire a 9.0 in my book.

The Firestone Destination A/T is also a great tire. When I need to replace my BFGoodfornothings, I'll be buying these. A buddy of mine with a FX4 has them and they are quiet (as they can be), and handle well in wet, snow, and mud (again, as well as they can with the tread they have). For someone that wants an ON road/barely off-road tire, this is it.

Michelin LTX M/S are excellent highway tires. If you do any minor offroading the Cross terrain are great as well. Michelin are more expensive, but they are worth every penny. They balance well and stay balanced which is hard to do with bigger tires.

I also have the Michelin LTX/MS. Don't think you can beat them. My third set.

Michelins are great tires. We run the ltx a/s on the work vans (70% highway) and they are awesome tires. The shop was out of a/s one time so one of the vans had the ltx m/s and the tread fills up with mud fast (it was the van I drove and with about 1,300 in the back went through some mud cause well, it was there and I was there) but it handled it like a champ. Not sure how they do on ice or snow, though.

I have the revos on my f150 and love them. went to the dump yesterday and my brother had to engage 4wd on his truck with the ltx a/s with about 1/3 tread left and I got out no problem and i have about 1/2 tread left. They are a very responsive tire, great traction, good wear (though if you are hard in the turns they show it), and just a great tire that I will be getting again unless something comes out that is just as good and cheaper or my wants in a tire change
