Smile X plan pin please

If anybody has an extra X plan pin I sure would appreciate it if you would be willing to let me use it. I will be buying a 07 F150 within the next 2 weeks.

Thanks

Mook

Just buy a share or two of Ford. You can get your very own Xplan pin. My dad just did it.

Go to Blueovalnews.com . On their home page there is a link to request one, and you SHOULD get a response within a day or two. I just did that about a month ago, and I thought it worked great!

You can't just "get" a PIN

it's not like a password.

Your employer must have a relationship with Ford and the arrangement must include employee purchasing. You can't just use somebody else's PIN number because Ford verifies your employer, that you are an actual employee of an actual partner company, etc.

Thank you. I was wondering what good the number would do if he didn't work for that comapny...

He can still get a "Friends and Neighbors" x-plan pin from someone who has some left to give out.

Yea, this is what I bought my truck with. I got the PIN from my Buddy's Wife's Uncle. Literally!

A Great way to buy a truck if you can get one. No haggle, and the dealer's seem happy to do it.

That's because you paid them more than you would have if you were a decent negotiator.

I have a college friend who is now the Finance Mgr. for a pretty good sized dealership. He told me they make $300-500 more on an X plan vehicle than on one that they sell for cash, no trade, and hard negotiations...

Who has 20-40k in cash? If your paying cash, im sure you can get way below x plan pricing. Or like me get the X plan, 0%, pay off trade (05 STX) and have them throw in a remote starter

Well worth 300 bucks.

Plus they're not hiding any incentives or rebates from you...

Oh yea, I scored at least 300 dollars in oil changes and car washes... Definitely a good way to go IMO.

If you have financing through your own bank or credit union, it's a "cash" sale to the dealer...

How would you know? they aren't required to tell you about any of them if you're being offered a special pricing plan...They get to keep anything available to a "regular" customer.

Man, I was just wondering if somebody was willing to pass along a pin number. I didn't know that I was going to start a firestorm debate about how to buy a car.

Hey Mook, email me your name, address, and last 4 digits of your social and I will get you a pin number. I have 3 left to give out. I gave out 8 last year on this site. I know Kd4crs got one of them.
