Ouch.

Sorry to hear that, Q.

Perhaps she was Borg, and took exception to your sig...

Time for an 06+ valence?

Good luck.

Cheers

Yeah. I was going west bound and she was east bound, I was in the left lane and there were cars running like hell on my right so I couldn't get over. I laid on the horn and braced for impact, I was pretty much stopped when she ran into me. The cops cited her for crossing the yellow line and put the blame on her, I gotta go pick up the accident report this morning so I can get a fix going.

(edited to correct - I was west bound, she was east bound)

On a side note, anyone ever dealt with Shelter Mutual Insurance?

It would be my luck. I think I'm gonna stick with the '04 bumper though, I like the rectangular fog lights.

That sucks, what does it take to start your car 10 minutes before you leave.

man that sucks Q- hope you get it fixed fast...

bluejay, if i remember correctly from when i lived down there a couple years ago, they enacted a new law- you have to have minimum liability ins. to renew or get a tag in GA- and is electronic if you get stopped they pull that data from your carrier automatically based on your license plate... not that that would stop some people

Everyone came away in one piece, thankfully. I was just about stopped when she hit me, if I was to guess she was going about 20-30 mph, so I got the brunt of the damage. There was traffic all along in the lane to my right, so I couldn't swerve into the other lane without running someone over so I just stood on the brake and braced for impact. The bumper was shoved into the tire so I couldn't drive away, had to get it towed. If I had my big effin' prybar with me, I would have tried to bend the bumper back and away so I could at least drive it to the shop, but oh well.

On a positive note, a rep from their insurance company called me this afternoon, I faxed a copy of the police report to them and they're supposed to be getting an adjuster out here to look at my truck ASAP.
