Truck wouldnt start.....

Nothing was left on, the battery had plenty of juice but when you turned the key the engine wouldnt even turn over.

I had it towed to the dealership where they told me it started right up.

What gives, I havent even put 500 miles on it!

Probably had something to do with the PATS system. Every once in awhile it fails to read the code properly and prevents starting. I've found it's better to keep the key on a separate ring because having it together with your other keys can interfere with the code being transmitted (in fact I read this in the owners manual).

I figured it was something electrical.

The dealership said they had 4 F-150 in the samde day that wouldnt start when it got down to -15. They dont know what it was tough, they called it "gremlins."

Wow! Another one?

This is a growing problem that is occurring and Ford has to know what is going on and just aren't admitting to it to save some $$.

I added my old thread....read through and see if it sounds like your problem. There is a TSB for this. Good luck man!

I did, they said there is nothing they can do.....

The tech did say they had 4 F-150's in the next day when the temp dipped below -15 one night
