theyre great intakes! thats my truck that they used on their site. i ran a couple of test versions on my truck and definately noticed a difference. it should be released soon...my friend is the 2nd test truck and if that all goes well within the next week then they should start mass producing them. i was really impressed with the dyno numbers and so where the outlaw guys. they were even more impressed when i turned on the edge at the dyno test!!

by the way, the "competitors intake" that is on the dyno graph was a volant. the numbers of that one are actually without the lid on and the hood open. the numbers with the lid on were a lot lower. the outlaw was sealed the entire time.

I emailed to reserve mine!

Can you give us some more info - is it loud? Does it drone (get the vibe at certain RPMs) like the Volant does?

From the dyno graph, I'll stick with my AF1.... that graph looks like a picture of the Rocky Mountains and thats with a smoothing factor of 5....

What were the dyno numbers with the Edge turned on? Do you have a graph of this you can post? The Outlaw CAI looks great and I also like the intro price of $150 delivered.

From your dyno graph and video here www.outlawpower.com/productdetail.php?sc=1486 your Outlaw Power's TQ and HP are both higher AND smoother than stock, nice job snowboarder7710! (from your video it seems like your truck sounds great too.)

Stock System:
217 hp @ 5100 rpm, 249 lbft @ 4200 rpm

Outlaw Power:
231 hp @ 5100 rpm, 260 lbft @ 3800 rpm

Greatest Torque Gain: 20 lbft
Greatest Power Gain: 18 hp

Torque Gain @ Peak: 11 lbft
Power Gain @ Peak: 13.4 hp

how was the air/fuel ratio during the run. Did it make anyones truck run lean? Thats all I want- get another intake and have to have it tuned. Sure it might give more power but I don't have the time for extra tuning.

I had one on my 4.6 and one on the way for my 5.4. There was no drone or vibration on the 4.6. I really liked the intake.....and with the special they are running, you wont be able to find a new enclosed intake cheaper! IMO
