Maglights mounted

I know this is an old thread but i remember reading a thread where someone didnt know where to mount a maglight. I've got two mounted where they are convenient yet not in the way. I do have the wires ran under the carpet and the power ran through the fuse box, which was a PITA!

To see pictures of the wiring check my gallery out

No problem. I remembered someone was searching and i'm glad you found it. When you hook the wires through the fuse box don't forget to pick a fuse that is hot all the time. Don't pick one that is only hot when the truck is on. I've got one that stays hot 24/7 and one that is only hot when the truck is on

FX4,

I tried to mount mine in front seat like yours, but i have a cylinder that is right against the metal. I do have electric seats so that may be the problem. Do you have any suggestions to get around that cylinder??

Thanks!!

Anyone know where I can buy some of the mounting clips. I have a Mag already, but dont remember any mounting clips being in the package with it.

Awesome pic's and a pretty cool idea!

This is where i put mine at. Soldered the power wires into the aux power point power. I can easily get to it from the drivers seat when i need it.

I have power seats also, and i dont remember running into a cylinder?. I can take some pics of placement of my screws, there might be one in my gallery. I just drilled a hole for each mount twords the top. Each little clip thing only has one screw in it though.

here is the pic I took, its the two larger screws (hex heads). Hopefully what im saying is visible. They are just two .25" or .5" sheet metal screws, I dont really remember.

It appears to just be another thing people can screw into their trucks and count it as a "mod."
