I don't think the leafs are going to help towing without making your unloaded ride suffer horribly. It'd be real stiff.

Why not just get a set of Ride-Rite airbags?

Helper springs might do the trick. They only activate when load is on. I've got a set of these...http://www.supersprings.com/productguide.asp

The airbag setup is a helper spring, so you'd have to leave the rize blocks in, good news being you'd retain ride quality without a load, then when you load it up you pump up the bags. if you go with springs its going to increase your springrate ten fold on the rear end of the truck, you might not like the ride quality to much anymore without being loaded up. but if you insist on spring packs i highly reccomend giving "deaver" a call, they are located in socal, the santa ana area. they are definatly a leading manufacture in aftermarket leaf springs. if you can afford the airbag setup id 100% go with that just to keep your sanity on daily driving.

oh yeah and don't you have a 6" block for in the back? I've got a 4" in the back with lift bags and had to make a new bracket... and it might be kind of scary with that tall of a bracket

here's a pic (rusty piece of metal is the fab'd bracket)

They should be able to hook you up at a decent price. I good quality company can give you the lift and a good ride too. I would use Alcan or Deaver. Alcan would prolly be a little cheaper. Give them a call and see what they can do.
