I think you'll break a hub, and rip a cv and ball joint boots. It's not a certainty so if you're willing to take those risks go ahead. Post shots of your cv angles when you're done cranking, it's nothing irreversible. I think it's worth the risk, the teeth on the cv gears might partially engage depending on flex so you risk damage there as well (goes back to hub damage). Just go easy, if you don't offroad you'll be fine. It's really hard to say what will happen but I'm sure the hubs are going to be the weakpoint. Good luck, the truck will look fantastic whichever way you go.
thanks josiah, i've been waiting for ur input. The truck will never see off road again after what i've had to spend in fixing it, new rear end, new engine 2 weeks ago, electric fans broke twice, new ecu, its not worth it in my opnion. I'm def going to go up another 2.5", josiah can i fit the 41" iroks without too much rubbing or shall i just stick with the 39.5 pit bulls.
thanks for the input guys

I won't say because I'm not sure, but I'd imagine it will fit. Trimming will allow anything to fit, just how far you want to go is where the limit is.
Can we hear some stories on the engine replacement, rear end, pcm, and definitely those electric fan problems. The word needs to get out about the problems with those, unless they were pure user fault.
