My Vibration Issues

Well after having my brand new bfg's for a month now Im debating if its worth it. What I mean is after I recieved the tires I went and had an alignment and 4 wheel balance installed. Well I leave then go to work the next morning and at 55-65mph the whole truck shakes enough to where it will move your body. Espcially the bed. So today I finally got time to take it back to the tire shop that installed them. There response was everything looks fine no problems they suggested me that I should have rebalanced and rotated. Also said it could be a faulty tire. These tires only have 1,000 miles on them. But they were gonna make me pay another $50 for rebalance. I already paid $140 the first time for balance and alignment. So my question is what should I do take it somewhere else and spend more money to have it balance or try to get "road force balance" or if all else fails sells and get a different tire?

Have the tires force matched. If they are excessively high(over 20 lbs.of road force)the tires will likely have to be replaced.Hopefully the shop where you had them balanced already is capable of doing this.

Ya I think they are but Im not taking it back to them. Does Wal-mart do that service? And what if something is wrong with the tire is there a warranty?

My bro had similiar experience on his 05 FX4 screw, same size BFG MT's installed at a local Firestone dealer. Same deal on the truck shaking at 55-65mph. Had our Ford dealer road force 'em and all is well now.

hey HiVoltage14.4, your looking at between $20-$30 a tire. It sounds like alot to spend after all the money you did spend getting balanced and rebalanced but you will be happy. You wont have the bed shake, the shake in the seat like you bought a seat cover massager or the steering wheel feeling like its going to jump out of your hand. If it fails, you need to replace those tires. Had mine done and its like driving my parents lexus just with a little humm. Check out this site, http://www.gsp9700.com/pub/search/findgsp9700.cfm , just put in your local info and it will tell you who and where you can get a road force balance. Then call around and find whos cheaper and is good with the machine.

Well today got all 4 tires road force balanced at my Ford dealer. They told me all were out of balance a little and the left rear is way out of round he said bad it wasnt even close to tolerances. He stated it was almost square and that BFG are not known for this. So I guess there is my problem. Only problem is I ordered these tires online about 3 hours away. Could I just go to any BFg dealer or do I go to the dealer I purchased from?

I'd say contact the dealer that you purchased the tires from to get a replacement.

I always have my wheels/tires balanced dynamically, always works the best for me.
