How many miles could I get from Toyo M/T and Nitto Terra Grapplers?
FYI, the deal about being able to ditch the front license plate in Texas was part of a bill that went through the Legislature, but it was removed during the process. Texas (government) has no plans of removing it. It's here to stay for a long, long time (if not forever). Oh, well, mine's still in the toolbox.

Also this was back in March '06 when the Nitto TG, Toyo OC A/T's and the BFG's in this size where on national backorder; so I consider it a smoking deal.

I researched these 2 tires for months and got nowhere. Everyone had good and bad things to say about both. I ended up going with the TG. I have only 1500 miles on them but they work great in the rain and dry roads. Still waiting for snow.
Well the toyo is a quiet long lasting tire
But the Toyo is a nice tire, i only have about 3k miles on mine and love them. They are also rated as a 35k mile tire, but with the wear i have now(next to nothing) i expect them to last a long time, probably well over 35k
i have had the tera's for over a year now and will not get 30k out of them. Good quiet nice riding tire but in order to do that they are a relativly soft compound. It really depends how you drive the truck and where you live. I have heard 50k and i will get maybe 28. All around good tire but not a fan of them off road. I will be going with a more aggressive tire next time around.
If you have skid plates like the fx4's do just slap that hideous front plate on their i did!

As for tires, Im goin to go with either the bfg a/t or m/t, 40k just wasnt enough out of a tire at the rate i drive. if i can get 60k out of the bfgs ill be happy. just my .02

Heck people can even get the vin # to your truck, all they got to do is take a look at the vin while your parked and in the store or somthing..
