Lower Grille Insert to match factory FX4

Can anyone provide me a link to a lower grille/bumper insert that matches the factory honeycomb grille on a 2005 FX4? No chrome, no billet, just a match of the factory grille. Also curious if this is a difficult installation, I don't like that gaping hole between the bumper and the upper grille.

Check Moss Motors. The manufacturer is Abbott Effects and it is just held in with clips.

Here is the link, you will have to cut and paste.:

I have the G.A.P that TX-Import provided the link for. It matches perfectly and it only takes a couple of minutes to install with 6-8 clips.

Funny you post this today as I just installed one this morning. I got it for Christmas but when I opened it one of the tabs was broken off. I contacted Moss Motors the day after Christmas and they sent me a new one. Shipped it the same day, so great service. It arrived today and I promptly popped it in.

It was pretty easy to install, but honestly I'm not sure how long it's going to hold up. Hopefully I won't have more issues with the tabs breaking off now that it's installed. There are 8 clips and it seems to be fairly stable.

How long have you had yours?

Anyway it definetly matches. I didn't like that hole there either.

There's also a more pricey alternative, the Roush lower grille. I wouldn't pay full price for one, but if you can find one used it's an alternative. I think it would look better on the FX/STX models than mine, it matches those upright bars with two in the lower grille.

Anyone know of one for the 06? They changed the style and the Moss Motors one looks like it will only fit the 04/05 style. thanks

Same here.

Mine has been on for a little over 2 years now and no problems at all.

There are a couple of pics of it in MY GALLERY.
