Called 4wheelonline today... is this true?

i called and asked them if the pro comp coilovers for 2wd were 2inches shorter than the 4wd's.. b/c i only want in between 4 and 5 inches of lift, and i want coilovers.. and the tech told me that the 4wd coilovers are adjustable from 4" height to 6" height... i thought it was 6" to 8"?.. which is it?

The 4WD coilovers should be adjustable from 6-8" and the 2WD ones 4-6" of lift.

With both the 4x4 and 2x4 coilovers you can adjust them 2 inches. The 4wd coilovers are longer than the 2wd by and inch and a half.

I beleive the knuckles on the 4x4 kit are also longer so they needed to add extra length to the coilovers. I have a 2wd truck and I put the 4x4 coilovers on my truck to make it sit higher.

I got my lift from 4wheelparts. They wont install the 4x4 coilovers on your truck, you have to either do it yourself of find someone to do it. Be prepared for some elbow grease to get them in. Not to mention youll have to crank them down a little to get your balljoint angle at a decent point.
