Did the job.

I took off my 2" AS and 1.5" AAL and put on the 2" Ground Force drop shackles and pinion shims. Here are pics.

Before AS and AAL.

After AS and AAL.

After taking off AS, with 2" ground force drop shackle.

Happy me. All dirty.

Yeah, my bud who I was going to do the job at his place, well he bailed on me at the last minute, so I gathered up my hand tools and my best friend and did the job in less than 4 hours on my driveway. No problems whatsoever otherwise.

Well, it's looking much better! You just need to paint those stupid faded gray spokes!

Naw, looking good, and you will not believe how much some taller tires will help, both in handling and looks.

well if you get into odds you find out that its either 50% chance it works or 50% chance it didnt work. kinda like whats the chances i draw two red cards out of a deck of cards.....

but that is if you are looking at the actual edge by itself, if you look at how many edges there are vs how many edges are bad, then you are looking pretty good.

Hey stealth after all this 4.6 vs 5.4 thread goin on. What you say we run our trucks a few times?

Talking G-Force question

I have an 06 King Ranch SCrew. First I tried Bell Tech 2" Rear leveling shackles.
Had such a bad vibration in the drive line from 20 to 50, the pocket change in the ashtray ratteled. Returned them. Bought an aftermarket set, 1 1/2 to
1 3/4 drop, not the full 2" the bell tech did, but the vibration wasn't as bad either.
I decided b4 I tore up a universal, I'd return them and return to stock..

NOW I'm hearing about G-Force shackles and a pinon shim that goes in the leaf springs to straighten the driveshaft alignment. Can anyone address the problem, did anyone have it before G-Force, or has it now been eliminated???

How bout a web site for G-Force to find a dist. in the Phoenix area???

Heck, I haven't ran my truck once yet. I'm still used to my torque steer from my turbo probe. It'll take some getting used to. I need to practice first.

I had a driveline vibration stock from the factory. It happened at about 53 to 64 mph. Dealership changed my entire driveshaft and components. No vibe after that. Then I had an add a leaf without any vibes which I just took out. The GF shackles came with the tapered shim, which I used, and after driving it I have no vibe. I know what a vibe feels like, I have no vibe. These beefier chassis are very sensitive. Pinion angles have to be just right on these truck so it seems.
