Double check the six bolts on top of the strut. 3 from the strut to the AS and 3 from the AS to the pocket. Also double check the sway bar link ends.

its these cheesy swaybar links.....rock your truck side to side by pushing against the top of the door till the truck is rocking and if your hear your clunking ,its the sway bar ends.....crappy design again.... ford

not that I know of...I would like to find a kit to get rid of those links with the knuckles on the ..the knuckles loosen up and get some slackin them and it is just enough to make noise but very difficult to track down sound travels along sway bar so it sounds like it is everywhere.....

if ur doing enough offroading that ur front end is lifting a little bit, u may have the problem i encountered. your control arm hits the springs, when my truck is only jacked up a few inches. i have 33's and when the truck is on the ground, it is only like 1.5 to 2 inches from the coil. if i even go over a speed bump fast enough im sure it will hit the coil and after enough of it, it will break the control arm or the coil.. either one = very bad.

True..didnt think of that as I put some rubber hose that i slit length wise and slipped it over the sping in the contact ares and tie wrapped it in place.

I had the same problem it sounds like the UCA hitting the spring. Mine got to the point that I couldnt take it and got donahoes. Do your self a favor and get aftermarket coilovers my donahoes even with 4wheel drive and big tires rides better then anyother truck Ive ridden in 2wheel stock to big money lifts.
