After I get my leveling kit installed, should I get my truck aligned then go get my tires put on, or should I go get my tires put on then go get it aligned, or does it matter.

 

doesn't matter- the alignment machine is based off the wheel

 

Just wondering, because I have always heard it was better to get it done after you get the tires on, but that is what I heard, but It will be so much more convenient to get the alignment done at the shop after the installation is complet e.

 

why not get the tires, take them to the shop thats doing the alignment and get it all done... i suppose if your new tires were drastically different in size than than stock, that it could affect the alignment-

I bought them from discount tire so I have to get them put on at a discount tire, and and they are a good 1.5 inches taller and 1.2 inches wider than the stock ones

 

Yep im about to do the same thing.. But put them on the stock wheels so...

I havent decided yet, Install the Leveling kit then go get the wheels mounted, then alignment, or other way around.. not sure it makes a huge difference..

 

mine are for stock rims too, I am confused because you here that it wont hurt to do it one way, but it is better to do it another, I wonder if anybody out there knows for sure that you can do it both ways, because I would hate to spend 1300 dollars on tires and they end up wearing weird because i did not get them put on in the right order

 

i had my leveling kit installed, i then got it aligned, and two weeks later i put new rubber on- no issues- drove true...

IMO, I would drive around with original tires for 2 wks or so that leveling kit settles down a bit then put new tires on for alignment...

 

that might not be a bad idea.. Let it settle before getting it aligned... Mabey i'll put my leveling kit on 2-3 days before i get the new tires that way it can settle before i align it and get new tires..
