You may also want to talk with Kenny Duttweiler of Duttweiler Performance,he is the turbo god.He was building and tuning 7 sec 1/4 mile turbo V6s back in 1987.He builds twin turbo smallblock V8s up to/around 2k hp.

livernois uses the systems from pro-turbo. Johny uses 2x76mm and you will notice the dyno pegged at 1000. The twin 66 will work very well. When looking at their site, pay close atention to the trucks you see (they are mine). The sytems were built around my setups. I am also a proturbo dealer so I can help you in anyway you need. There are several people out there that are turbo god's and I call on them often. I can say my phone rings often with questions on setup and tuning. The F150's are a different beast than the mustangs and others as folks are finding out.

Mark, is it possible a Twin 66mm produce more TRQ at 2500 RPM than a Twin Screw both at 20 PSI.
Thanks.

Talking

I'm not a turbo expert, but I can tell you this... anyone who says you will have "turbo lag" or a "problem" getting the boost up has NO idea what they are talking about. ESPECIALLY with sequential twin turbos that will absolutely not even be close to being a problem. your problem will be keeping your TIRES stuck to the GROUND.

I have to dial in lag on my turbos so I can leave the line without exploding the tires. the turbos will produce more TQ everywhere in the rpm range

go to my site and check out one of my first setups. www.turbof150.com

go to the vids section. You will see me there in the white supercrew. I am running a single 67mm, running 55mph I spool the turbo and hammer it. You can here the tires sqeel when it down shifts into second

id personally go with a larger single turbo setup, 4" exhaust, tial 44mm waste gate, and a 50mm valve. A Blitz EBC, sump fuel tank with external pump with 5/8 fuel line. and the thickist core air to air you can fit in the front.

A project like this is not a track truck, you'll never get it to hook, but would be a beast from a 30 roll. and remember turbo lag is traction control, and if your needing a little more bottom end and quicker spool, a nice little juice helps that issue.

i dont know your current motor specs but, a built 5.4 4 valve (heads, cams, everyhting......) on a 80mm BB turbo at 13lbs will make 1000whp on 93 pump gas.

Mark what's the difference of low impedance and high impedance injectors?
For my set-up, 66MM Twins, do you think 83 injectors will be enough for 1000RWHP ? If so, what brand will fit my 5.4 3V engine ?

Thanks a lot man.

Another dilema with the Twin-Turbo project:

Mike Troyer would be the man to answer this one :

The problem is that i will need at least 80lbs injectors to support 1000RWHP but i can't find them with HIGH IMPEDANCE. In order to keep my stock computer the injectors must be high impedance and if i don't find them i will have to scrap my stock computer and install an aftermarket PCM able to use high or low impedance injectors.
If you have any idea let know, any comment will be trully appreciated.
Thanks,
Rafael.

turbo is the ultimate way to go. 66mm is fine for all conditions. with an auto the turbos can actually overspool, that is they can reach max boost and slightly drop as the wastegate fully close. the 1980's buick regals had that issue. it's not worth thinking about though. you will never notice lag. gear it right, it takes lower numerical gearing for fastest times.

dial a boost for excellent street driving. use smallish cams and let the boost do the job. there is no power loss turning the blower, so you get it all.

a procharger will also reach near turbo levels.

depending on your fuel setup you can go with 60's

I am running 60's on mine and am getting very close to the 1000hp mark.

I am running dual A1000 pumps with dual 8an to the front and 6an return line.
