well, my birthday is within a few weeks and i need to make a list for my parents of what i want so they can pick and choose at what to get. Obviously, i am going to try to get some mods for my truck...i dont know a price limit yet, but i am going to try and see what i can get.

here is what i have so far

*exhaust system (probably roush offroad)
*air intake
*grille
*programmer (troyer or edge)

any other ideas/recommendations?

my truck is a 2006 5.4 liter XLT with the chrome package

Well, what look are you going for? . . more street or offroad?

 

can't go wrong with a supercharge no matter which direction you go.

 

I probably wont do much if any offroading.

supercharger is probably way out of the price range

 

Well, first off. I'd decide what look you want to achieve. Judging by your list of mods right now it sounds of more a street set-up so what about some type of drop kit?

yeah i feel you on that one. if i asked for my parents for something for my truck i'd get a tank of 87. If I were you I would push for the programmer of the exhaust.

 

i will not lower my truck at all....if anything, i would get a leveling kit or a small lift....but not a drop....i personally hate that look.

i like my truck at its current height level. I am just looking for some apperance/perfomance mods mainly

 

From the list that you provided, I would get a programmer first. I've done all the mods on your list on my truck, and if could only pick one mod from the list, I think you get the most out of a programmer than the other mods that are on your list. My second choice would be an exhaust system, followed by the grille. Btw, I see that you mention that your truck came with the chrome package. Did you take off the chrome door handles off your truck because I don't see them on there.

 

no, it came that way. I didnt think the chrome package included them on the 06 models.

I believe that only the Lariats with the chrome pkg included the door handles for 2006
