Short Story:
Bastard kids were chucking boulders at cars on the freeway, later in the night I found out they liked the truck so they left me something special...right on the roof. Shattered a truckers window, ruined a dentwizards truck. I feel fortunate to be honest. A mexican helped us catch the gang banging queers, and the dent wizard is sueing them lol. I am going to give them a chance to pay it before going to court.

So tonight was supposed to be uneventful, took off from college on my way home, it was dark and I was almost to my exit and my headlights lit up a field of boulders in the freeway...I get to thinking what in the world happened...well I tend to run things over first and ask questions later...hell if I'm gonna wreck for a paper bag...but as soon as I do...BAM! ****ing rock the size of a horse hits us...so it sounded, I thought for sure it shattered my sunroof and caved the roof in some. It was the size of about a human head if the boulders on the freeway were any similar. I know the area as it's where my buddy used to live, pretty crappy part of the countryside. There is a mobile home park and I shoot straight for it.

As soon as I exit the freeway I see a Dent Wizard man on the side of the road...I thought to myself he might be pulled over for the same reason...I pulled over rolled down my window and asked if he just got hit with a boulder as well. He so reminded me of Joe (TeckBargins), "Yeah man, big one", he said. I asked if he wanted to clauber them with me, he said nope, it's a company truck. So I took off after he says "come back when you're done." I carry a bat with me from the last incident I was in so I get to the road parrallel to the freeway, and I used my spotlight to search, hopped out and hopped a few fences looking for them. I turned back and was about to pull over and talk to the guy again with no luck but decided what the hell, lets go look again because liability doesn't cover this ****. So I go back and hopped some more fences...I found a MEXICAN! He crawled right out of the shadows...I asked who the hell he was, he goes, "I live here man, I called the cops and the manager already". Apparently they went through his back yard...

At that time the CHP arrived, I told them about the mexican and they turned around...entered the trailer park and we all met up. As I pulled up to the cop some lady was walking with a couple people, I pulled over and asked them if they saw some people running through here...the lady goes I think this kid is one of them (she was escorting him to the cruiser). So they interrogate this little bastard, red belt...pants to his ankles...real hard So the cop puts him in cuffs after he denies everything...ok if I lost you I'm cutting to chase anyway...they called another kid on his phone who also lived there and apparently helped chuck the boulders as well. They hit 1 trucker, shattered his window. My truck on the roof (DEEP scratches down to the metal), the dentpro guy and I'm sure others as well but we pulled over. Needless to say I'm taking these little bitches to court, especially the one who denied it. The 2nd kid ratted on everyone, thank God. There was a 3rd girl who helped escort the 1st kid to the cruiser, lol. She goes "where did it hit your truck?...Man I can't believe they'd do that..."...after she left, turns out she was the 3rd rock chucker. I'd say the dent wizard man had it the worst, they chucked it at the side of his ranger and damaged the hell out of the fender, door, etc. They couldn't take them to ju-v because it was full. How about it.

I'm going to try and settle out of court, I'm pretty good at working things out so I think I have some wiggle room to get the money out of her and if she does I'll make it as cheap as possible, trying to fix what I can on my own. I used to be a little bastard too so I felt for the one who admitted to everything. The first kid is another story, the cops themselves were telling us how bad they'd wanted to stone him. Pics in the morning, it doesn't look too bad but is sure as hell down the metal. There are about 4, 8" long gashes, about 1/2" in width on my roof! Father truckers, I think I have to have my roof painted.

Needless to say, thank God we caught the kids or there'd have been a ton of money lost amongst us, neither the dent wizard nor myself had insurance that would pay for it...his was just expired. The dent wizard guy was great, we were joking the entire time so I know he'll hook me up on the hood (dented as well). The kids who did it were complimenting the truck, I was thinking great way to show it or thanks for ruining it. Sorry it's so long but it was a long night and I have class first thing in the AM!

Now some useful info, if you want to become a dent wizard here is how. They send you to St. Louis for training, put you in an apartment for I think 2 weeks, it's supposedly awesome. They pay you while they train you there.

dude! that is crazy, what are the odds? I can't believe they were dumb enough to stay after they did it once... such morons.

I wish you the best of luck with that, but if I were you I wouldn't try and repair anything myself. Make those bastards pay and get it done right.

Ugh. That's rough man. Not sure how I'd react -- it wouldn't be pretty though.

Geologically speaking (and I speak like that often times), a boulder is a detached rock mass having a diameter of greater than 256mm (about 10 inches) -- about the size of a volleyball.

Maybe it was a cobble? (64mm to 255mm)

About 3 years ago, there was a woman driving on I-20 through Fort Worth. some kids dropped a rock through her windshild and killed her. I pulled some dumb stunts as a kid, but most of them involved my own endangerment, not someone elses's. I just don't see the thrill in dropping a rock on a vehicle. Glad you caught them and sorry about your truck.

When I go shopping around here there are about 50 bazillion mexicans everywhere. I am completely surrounded by Hispanics, and it's no big deal. I guess that's what I get for being so close to the border, eh? Anyway, that sucks about your truck, get those little ****s to fix it.

I'm two hundred miles from that boarder. I'm one of the last three Anglo's on my block, and when I go to a store I'm usually the only Anglo in the store. Hello Mexifornia.


Saw an apple thrown from a car go completely through a windshield and smash the rear window; Josiah got lucky. If that came through the windshield it would have killed him.
Bet 5 bucks they won't pay a dime and you can't sue 'indigent' people. I.E. the family will be on ADC thus immune to lawsuits.
