Then on the road to our house, my girl was 1/2-3/4 mile in front of me, had the fogs on with lights on dim and she called my cell and told me "god those lights are bright, dim those things" so I turned the brights on. She said that they were very, very bright (with both fogs on and brights).

So I am not sure what is going on, I guess that I will just have to live with getting flashed, and not the type of flashing that I want to be seeing...
There are screw stems sticking out of the projectors, adjust the vertical adjustment screw to raise and lower the beam. You're lifted so that doesn't exactly help with the added brightness of the bulbs.

Yep, already did that, actually I did that on saturday. And all the stuff in my previous post happened on sunday. I am kinda thinking that since the light is so much "whiter" than the standard halogen that could have something to do with it.

Yea your right, being lifted doesn't help, especially with the fog lights.

Any word on the expected longevity of these bulbs? My past experience is about a year for Silverstars, which is unacceptable for the cost. If that's the case then my XVs will do until they die. They light up the road really well. They haven't been in a year yet, but we'll see.

With the 9005ST is there any concern with the bulbs getting too hot or the wiring not being rated for the additional wattage since these are high beam light instead of the standard fog light?

it's been mentioned before, but the 9005's don't last half as long as the 9145s.

I went through 2 sets of 9005s and have now settled on 9145s

I run my 9005's all the time. I've had them on probably 6 months or so with no issues.

How often do you use them? Anytime my headlights are on, my fogs are too.

Man, I don't know how to break it to you guys, but I added the 9005's to my fogs last year and the results were awesome. I added the new H13ST's last week and I'm not impressed at all. Are they better than stock? Yes. Are they $40.00 better than stock? No. Good thing I've got the Hella 550's behind my grill for when I really need some fire power.

Sorry guys I've been gone for a while and had NO idea the silverstars were out for our trucks. I checked through the thread and I couldn't find the part number for the turn signs.
Sorry if I missed it. I know the headlights are H13ST and the Fogs are 9145's.

Thanks
