New Hood Installed

So I finally got my ram air hood painted and installed. What do you think? I really like it, just need bigger tires now. This is a great sight by the way, I've learned a lot and now want a lot more mods on my truck.

Thanks!!

This is actually insurance money. My truck was caught in a hail storm a while ago. The stock hood is $680 unpainted and this one was $795 so I thought it was worth the upgrade. And it's functional!!!

How do you guys get the actual picture to show up on the thread? Also how do you get pics of your trucks and the list of mods to show up with every post?? Sorry, I'm new to this forum.

That's looks great. I'm thinking about doing this myself. I started this thread Trying to get help on which hood to get. https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...09#post2277709 It only got one comment. I'm leaning towards the Ram air hood.
Does the honeycomb inserts come out or do thay need to be their? I'm not sure how that will look with the Harley Grill I got. What did it cost to have it painted? Also why didn't you just have it prepainted when you bought it? Sorry for the questions.
Anyways good job it looks great.

btw, Can anyone here can past that ram air hood on the picture of the front end of my truck. I'd really like to see it. Thank you

I have the same hood and it's fit and finish is great. I opted to have it painted at a local shop because the manufacturer was about 3-4 weeks behind on painting. Cost me $300. As far as the inserts, they are removable, but I wouldn't leave the space empty. Front end pics are in my gallery. Just my .02.

Did you get those honeycomb vent grilles from Ram Air Hood? I have the same hood, but my vent griles have horizontal bars. I like your honeycomb vent grilles better.

I've seen that hood in ford performance truck magazine and I love it! Now If someone could make those rams functional for a CIA. Living in Kansas I'm sure a hail storm will be coming my way soon enough for me to upgrade too.

Do you have any pictures of yours? Can you post any? I'd also like to see a close up of your vent grills. Thanks
