I'm also getting average 12-13mpg for the entire tank and mine is on 35's...was getting around 15-16mpg before lift and tires...

Truck looks really good.

Yeah I'd have to look for some black teflon wheels that I like. I'm not a big fan of black rims so maybe I'd just trying polishing the chrome a lot and see how bad it gets. I have at least two years to go anyhow first before I can afford the other daily driver.

What size leafs did you go with? The 6 or 8 inch? I want to do the same set up you have and someone told me to do the 6 inch leaf and block instead of the 8 inch leaf beacuse the 8 inch makes the rear too stiff and you get a more bumpy ride. Is that acurate?

I've got a 5" leaf with a Deaver add-a-leaf and Bilstein 5150s in the rear and it rides great.

The shop is offering me a 6 inch Atlas leaf instead of the Deaver and they gave me a choice of the Bilstein or the Fox for teh rear both with the rez. I want the smoothes ride possible. Do you think I should go with a smaller leaf and a bigger block or just stick with the 6 inch Atlas and also what shock should I get?

Thanks

Both are going to ride good. What did your shop suggest?

PS: How much?

The guy suggested the Fox and Atlas. He said from personnal expirence he liked the fox shox better and that the Atlas leafs ride just as good as Deaver. I actually was looking to go with the 8 inch leaf but he recommeded I go with the 6 inch and a block to keep a factory ride. Basically I'm getting your same set up and out the door it's costing me $5200

Oh...what size offset is your wheel and teh backsaping I take it is 5 inch right?

. . with the same wheels and tires? Damn, thats a really good deal if so. I've never had Fox shocks so I can't tell you. My Bilsteins ride great though.

They are 4.5" backspacing or something around there, 10" wide.

Thanks for the info. The truck will be going through it's transformation this Friday. I feel like a little kid waiting for X-mas to come.
