A plan is Ford employee price. This is for employees and immediate family only. X plan is slightly above (~4%) A plan price. X plan is for Ford partners and also for friends and neighbors of Ford employees. D plan is the price that dealership employees pay for vehicles. Z plan is for retired Ford employees and immediate family only. I was fortunate to have a member here sponsor me for x plan and I that is what I bought my 06 F150 on.

I just had someone I sponsored decide not to purchase a new vehicle, so I have 1 X plan pin left. It is yours if you want it.

So aren't A and D the same? Or is A plan just for Ford corporate employees?
I've always wondered the difference myself.

A plan is about the best deal you will get, that is why it is reserved for employees and employee's family. How's the new truck Kdrcrs?

Blang,

The new truck is great! I have already put my DU-HA back in it and gotten my Undercover tonneau on it. Thanks again for the X-plan pin.

A-Plan - Ford employees and selected family members only. It's dealer price + destination & delivery + $75 admin fee + finance charge.

Z-Plan - Same as A, just for retirees and selected family members.

D-Plan - Dealer employees and selected family members only. Dealer price + D&D + $100 advertising surcharge + $75 admin fee + finance charge.

X-Plan - Varies per brand. Supposed to be for Ford employees and employees/suppliers with "close strategic ties to Ford Motor Company," or someone sponsored by a person eligible for X-plan pricing. On a Ford or Mercury, it's dealer invoice - 0.4% discount + $75 admin fee.
