Got in a wreck today...sucks

Some little old asian lady decided she wanted in my lane, nevermind me being there already, so we touched corners (her passenger rear to my drivers front) and she wound up into the cement guard rail. Could have been worse. Looks like a new front bumper, wheel, fender repair and paint.

[IMG][/IMG]

Best part had to have been the multiple stories she and her passenger were spinning for the police.

1) they hit the wall and I stopped to render aid...no idea why I was claiming an accident occured.

2) they ran into the wall then I hit them from behind (nevermind there was zero damage to either their rear or my front)

3) someone swerved into their lane forcing them to do the same into my lane although I wasn't there at the time...they hit the wall, then I hit them from behind.

I think there were a few other versions as well.

All the story changing dragged the whole process out for 2 hours. She ended up with a few tickets when it was all said and done.

It's ridiculous how people try and say crap like this isn't their fault.

I can't stand the way society today refuses to take responsibility for their own actions.

Glad you didn't get hurt bro. Good luck on the repairs!

Man that does suck.At least the damage wasn't major.
I know, that's easy for me to say because it didn't happen to my truck. If it did I'd be freaking out.
Hope everything works out for you.

Sounds like another PT Cruiser don't it Dave. Edit: I'll save the story, some people can't handle natural selection.

So I got ahead of him and swerved into his lane, sending him off the road...almost. Needless to say he got off on the next exit
2 stupid moves don't make it right or funny. You could have killed someone.

Blame parents and the current state of the US legel system.

Just my 2 cents.

Oh and sorry to hear 'bout the wreck.

EDIT: BTW my wife is from S Korea, and I think all of this female asian bashing is craz...I mean accurate. My wife can not park no matter what. She is forbidden to drive my truck unless I'm dying or already dead.

I have a friend who is half Korean, and her sister is the worst driver ever. Said half Korean friend told me so, no lie. I used to date said bad driving sister like ten years ago...FWIW.

NO. You call the cops, get the incident documented, then you get a lawyer and start garnishing income.

That blows, my first accident (not my fault) cost $ 12,000.00 to fix my truck.
