question for those who had their windshield replaced
Ok, so this might be a trivial/stupid question, but if the dealer replaces your windshield, does the replacement glass have the F-150 logo up next to where the rearview mirror is attached? I know the replacement glass doesn't have the sticker in the lower corner of what factory it was made in, and quite honestly i don't care about that, but I really like the F-150 logo.

I had mine replaced...got into an accident and I completely forgot about that. I did notice I do have the F150 logo still though...
The shop that fixed my truck were all truck folks...so they took care of it well. I would definately mention you wanted the same one EXACT so there is no confusion. Probably have different part #'s too????

It is one thing to have OEM in a collector car, but it should not be a big deal in a daily driver.

If you went though you insurance co for replacment, Carlite and Pilkington will be billed at the same price to the insurance co per nags part number...
installing a non logo will save you money on a cash price.... saves insurance co nothing..... you got a lower priced windshield, insurance co paid the same, glass co made more on the install do to lower cost in glass....
