What I like about my F-150
I am kind of new to this forum and recently purchased an F-150, but I am no stranger to Fords. I have read numerous threads about what people don't like about their F-150's, and I guess this is the place to do it. But, in order to provide equal opportunity I thought it might be interesting to find out what people like about their Ford F-150 Trucks.
I have a 2004 Ford F-150 Lariat so some things might not be the same as yours.
I like the door handles that just pull straight out, it's a door handle and it also opens the door with a single pull, it's not a lever, it doesn’t require you to adjust your hand position, it just opens.
I like the tail gate with the torsion bar that helps you open and close it. Hey I've gotten older, ever little bit helps.
The gages in the Lariat are white face, but at night they turn black when lit up, very cool, but maybe they all do that, don't know.
At three MPH all the doors lock.
There is a little plastic drip pan installed that when changing your oil filter will funnel the oil into your drip pan, nice touch.
The radio sound level increases and decreases depending on vehicle speed.
There is nothing like accelerating a 6000 lb beast, there is something to that, not sure what though, but the 365 foot pounds of torque makes me smile.
The hood has hydraulic dampers that make opening the hood a non event. (Remembering holding the hood open with one hand and fumbling for the prop stick with the other, aka the good old days.)
The effortless to change air cleaner.
When you turn the truck off the radio still plays.
I'll let you guys take over form here.

i like it when i can just drive right over the idiot drivers in my neighborhood. You know...the ones that just STOP in the middle of traffic, don't use their turn signals and simply turn at the last minute. Oh, how 'bout the dumba$$ who pulls out onto a 3 lane road right into your lane when all others are free. Gotta love that one.

i love how the chassis feels so solid. you know your driving a truck in this thing. yet it handles like a sportscar. i can turn 90 degree corners at 80 km/h and not even hear a chirp from a tire. i love how quiet the interior is. absolutly any aftermarket product you can imagine is readily available. about the only thing i dont like is when I haveto fill it up with gas
