Hey all, just wanted to say goodbye for now....I just got back from trading in my truck....I'll be back someday, when gas prices go down or I buy a boat again....It's been fun reading and chatting with you all getting help and suggestions....

It's all good.
Why do people even bother posting these topics? If they want to read the replies, just search for the previous posts. The same members will have the same posts in all of the threads. Almost like Deja vu.
I guess some people just keep hoping it's opposite day, when they'll actually come out ahead by trading in a year-old truck and getting a brand new car to save a few mpgs.
EDIT: I was just thinking, if I remember anything from my accounting classes, the costs that most people think of when buying/trading a new vehicle are to be considered "sunk costs," and should really have no bearing on the decision. Is anyone a CPA? Am I at least on the right track?
Still, it doesn't make sense to me to lose all that money, whether it's sunk or not.
