Thumbs up I Love It!!

On my way home from my girlfriends house tonight at about midnight it hit me that i love my truck. 04 FX4 Screw 42k miles
Cruising down the freeway at 75 there isnt a single rattle or squeek its quite only the sound of the radio. The ride was smooth as glass the seats soft and i actually felt like just cruising down the freeway for as long as possible.
Once i got out of town and the road was wide open i decided to open her up a lil bit and just nice and slow started to put my foot in it and nice and calmy i speed up 80 85 90 95 100 and i quite at 105 (tires). I cruised for maybe a mile at 105 a lil over 2500 rpms it was great then i did my u-turn and went home. I love this damn truck

At the same time i feel sorry for people who happened to get bad eggs that cant enjoy what is truly a wonderful truck in every way.

I love ol' Blue as well. So much so, in fact, that I give him a little peck goodnight on the tailgate every evening before I head off to bed!

If you think I'm kidding, you don't know me very well.....

yeah man, on the way back from a AA Braves game a week ago my father in law I were just cruising down the interstate heading back home, when he quietly asks me, "how fast are you going now?"

I was doing about 80 and then he mentions, "how quiet and what smooth ride my truck is,".

He was right you know, it was a nice quiet ride, could hardly tell I was doing 80 at all.

So I know your love, cuz I love mine too bro.

I could not get passed 98MPH in mine. The Limiter is set at 98mph in these trucks stock. How do you get them to go past 100??

Tuner. I was coming home yesterday from a long ride and Im always relaxed in my truck, its nice but unlike everyone else I was sitting in traffic for almost 2 hours.

These trucks just make you want to drive! I have 30500 miles on mine in 16 months, and I love the thing.

I have an '04 GMC LWB plain jane for a company truck with a 4.3 V6. Let's just say I'm happy when the weekend comes so I can drive my truck. It rides so much smoother, and is so much quieter and runs so much better it aint even funny.

All right... this thread is disturbing....

Truck doesn't talk? you're not listening to it... just run w/o the radio on, windows up, these trucks talk plenty!!!

What a queer thread...everyone patting each other on the butt and smiling about their trucks. One of you pats my butt, I'm running you over with my truck...and I probably won't feel the bump because of the smooth ride.

Oh Duke... no need to be so grumpy. You IM'd me telling me how much you like it when someone pats you on the butt. Don't go astray on us now... LOL!

BTW, my truck talks to me too... typically on days where I forget my medication. I'm not sure if there's any correlation.
